![]() I had the opportunity to sit and chat with Fredy, the owner of Wheel House Center in Chino, this week about his business. I was welcomed by one of the mechanics as I walked in with a warm hello and good morning. At most auto repair shops I'm lucky to get a look in the eye from a mechanic, but I could tell things were run a bit differently here. The place was clean, looked sharp, and the help was friendly. I already felt like I was important and that they cared about me. While I was waiting for Fredy he was taking care of another customer. When he came over to speak to me he immediately apologized and explained that the job on that customers car he was helping was going to take about 3 hours so he was giving the customer the keys to his personal vehicle to use so he could get the things done he needed to do and didn't have to wait in the shop all day. This blew my mind! Who does things like that anymore? Well, Freddy does. He really truly genuinely cares about his customers and I saw it first hand with his actions as well as his employees. Fredy has been in the automotive industry for over 8 years. He has worked with other big box stores as well as local Mom and Pop's helping build and make their businesses successful. He decided it was the right time to open up his own store. He believes that working hard and taking care of his customers will produce positive results. He and his business partner Bill opened up Wheel House Center in July of this year. They specialize in lifts, lowering, suspensions, brakes, tires, and wheels. They do shocks, alignments, and oil changes as well. You can check them out and follow them on facebook, Instagram, and Yelp by clicking on the links here. I asked Fredy, if a customer was to choose between your business and 3 others just like it why would you suggest they at least give you a try first? He gave me one quick response, "Customer Service." He told me he will do whatever it takes to make his customers comfortable and that they come first. He told me that last week when one of his clients got a flat tire in Downey. He drove to Downey, changed the tire, drove the car back to the shop in Chino and fixed the issue with the car. This is going above and beyond any reasonable expectations. You don't hear companies do things like this anymore. Well, they do here at Wheel House Center. This is the culture and leadership a community like Chino was built on and deserves more of. I highly recommend you take your car or truck to a shop that cares about you. Take it to Fredy. Take it for a ride in your wheel house at Wheel House Center! You will be glad you did. They are located at 5536 Philadelphia St unit A-C Chino, CA 91710 or click on the phone number here to give them a call (909) 465-5007.
